Description The administration of the Southern Region of the Ministry of Education, in conjunction with the Mandel Center for Leadership in the Negev, has initiated a training program geared mainly toward giving support to new school principals while increasing their professional abilities and responsibility. The program addresses the connections between theory and philosophy in the relevant fields on the one hand, and the practices of the group of principals on the other.

Program content
The course covers theories pertaining to major issues in the immediate field of study and in the work environment, including the job of the school principal against the backdrop of the changing situation in the local authorities. The training program includes individual and group supervision by experienced principals and other professionals and is consistent with the objectives and plans of the Ministry of Education. Participants design a work plan in line with Ministry objectives, based on what they are learning and on new insights that they acquire.
