About our Activities

Description of our Activities

MCLN activities are based on three models that vary in scope and level of MCLN involvement:

Intensive leadership programs: long-term programs lasting 200–450 hours over the course of a year or more. These programs are intended for groups that work together in an organization or are associated with a particular locality or with the entire region. The focus of these programs is on observing the professional and functional space in a new way, acquiring ideas and tools, developing a vision, and translating the vision into action plans. These programs form the core of MCLN activity.

Professional forums for groups with a common denominator, such as activity in a particular locality or a common profession. Our involvement in these forums is manifested on various levels such as: delivering lectures and leading discussions on professional topics relevant to the participating group and its activity in the region. During the course of some of the programs the participants produce projects such as position papers and strategic plans to be implemented after the program's completion.

Joint programs: programs conducted in cooperation with other organizations, especially Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Shatil, and the Abu Basma Regional Council. MCLN's team teaches modules in each of these programs in our areas of expertise.
